Upgraded to be a 64-bit program, which means A Viewer for Windows can now work with much larger images. The program will however not be supported on 32-bit versions of Windows from this release forward. Of note: if you are using Windows 11 you are using a 64-bit version of Windows as there is no 32-bit version of Windows 11.

The program will now open an image via the Windows' ‘Open with’ feature, as well as via the command line, batch and script files.
If you pin A Viewer for Windows to your Windows' taskbar, you will be able to left click on the icon there to quickly open recent files.
The Effect Selection boxes on the Viewer window are now movable.
The ‘Neutral’ profile may now be enabled or disabled.

Added features to modify an image’s colour, opacity and transparency.
Introduced a ‘folder’ view within the Effects Selection boxes of the Viewer window and the Effects Designer window.
Double-clicking on an .av4w file to import it now automatically refreshes the effects profiles in use (so you no longer need to exit out of the Viewer and Effects Design windows to have that change picked up).
The Viewer window now displays the filename only in the title bar.
Removed the need for the prefix ‘EffectsProfile_” in the .av4w filename.
In fact, upon first use, the program will automatically remove the ‘EffectsProfile_” prefixes from all your existing av4w files in your default av4w data folder.

The current profile last used before exiting the program wasn’t being applied correctly if the program was started up again and the user left clicked on the Sharpen button without first going into the pick a profile window.
The top and left edges of a sharpened image were incorrect, now corrected.
Also fixed with the above, the file dimensions in pixels of the saved file now matches that of the original.

Improved the logic that sharpens an image, including reducing the time it takes to sharpen and image (most noticeable on larger images).
Added features allowing you to set, save and share Sharpening profiles – to access these features hold the [Alt] key down while clicking on the ‘Sharpen’ control in the Viewer window.

To reset to the original image the Reset control must now be held down for one second (helps prevent accidental clicking on it).
When opening up the viewer, the tool bar will be shown with or without words as it was shown the last time the window was closed.
Mouse down on a control x1 speed, with shift down x2 speed, with ctrl down x5 speed, with shift and ctrl down x10 speed.
Viewer window sizing and location optimized for screen and image.
The open window will now always be on top, or not, following the lead of how the viewer window has been set in this regard.
Zooming an image to 1,000%, and then clicking on the middle mouse button on the zoom control threw an error (now fixed).
